Since the first year, I started to explore more actively both the course wiki and other ones I know (before the course, I never really made any distinction between a website and a wiki per-se). At the end of the first year, I started to appreciate the way that information is organized inside of wikis and I was considering to try to set up my own.

I met User:Ålnik last summer which showed me her personal wiki), but I was looking for something smaller and also maybe static to start with.

User:grgr showed me ikiwiki, a wiki compiler that "converts wiki pages into HTML suitable for publishing on a website." it also uses revision control. I have it in my sight, but I still did not dive in fully while still studying, as I fear I might fall into a rabbit hole. So what's smaller than converting wiki pages/markdown files into static html that can be published online? I was looking into local-first and inside-of-terminal wiki possibilities and I ran into something I consider a bit absurd...
