Summary:
1. Recap of last meeting — We are going to host the show at Brienenord, opening on Thursday, each day will have a unique program.
2. Tools for organizing — It was proposed to utilize web-tools for organization. Kanboard was suggested as we can host it ourselves, therefore we will have a tour of Kanboard once it is up and running.
3. Timeline – In order to get an overview of things needed to be done until the grad-show we started sketching a timeline. Initially we took a few minutes for everyone to make suggestions for items to include in the timeline. Then it was decided that two people will go through the suggestions and device a more comprehensive timeline, so that we can get an overview of what is more urgent, as well as how we can divide the labour in groups.
https://pzwiki.wdka.nl/mediadesign/Prototyping/2023-2024/XPUB2#Final_planning previous years timeline for reference, we want something similar, but probably made with kanboard.
4. Decision making protocol – To ensure future decision making processes smoothness, a protocol would be useful. One person will propose such a framework during our next meeting.
For Next meeting: will take place: Thursday 10th April, 10-11am
- update people not present (Michel)
- Kanboard tour (Riviera sets up Kanboard on chopchop)
- timeline presentation (Senka and Anita make proposal timeline)
- decision making protocol (bernadette)
- Think about what you will present at the grad-show. It was proposed to do a round of sharing about or projects to get a better idea of the contents of the show, in order to come up with common theme/concept.

Who is the public?
The publication should be directed towards a general audience. Since Brienenoord has potentially a different audience, that might not be familiar with XPUB or the personal themes of the projects, we would like to keep this in mind and create a structure around. Yet this should not mean that parts of the content could not be niche or very specific nor that this has to be a dry informative text.
What do we want the publication to communicate to the public?
We would like to give an introduction to us, the graduation show, our studies and projects. A coherent narrative around the individual contributions will make it understandable but also playful and capivating to read.
What is the content?
From the temperature check-in we took away that half of us is open, half of us invested in the idea of a radical openness in terms of what specifically we would like to display in the publication.
* Most of us were positive in having a personal representation of our practice (Temperature Check-In, 2025) which is proposed to be in the format of an interview that we do with each other instead of writing it ourselves.
* The idea of the interview could also be extended further in terms of how we would like to display personal projects.
* In addition to the printed publication we would like to add a layer of interactivity as well as reference to the space. This could be a web-map, a printed guide or also a part of the grad publication.
What are links between different projects?
During the temperature check-in and during the concept&editorial meeting we emphasized the idea of the "island" as an overall theme. This could create a guiding narrative that would for one make it playful and creative but also easy to link the projects as islands swimming in a collecitve sea. We can build bridges between those islands to connect similar topics, tools, ...
- List of potenital Titles can be collected until the 28th April, then there will be a collective voting
8. Riviera
- Kanboard can do anything, so use it!
