Meta-procrastination is to procrastinate by exploring and reflecting on the act of procrastination itself. It is the highest and most poignant form of procrastination, as it is potentially endless, and it self-reproduces.

Instances of meta-procrastination

  • I have been experiencing it while preparing my T2 assessment: I have been more focused on the narration of the process of preparing the assessment than on its very realization.
  • In 2021, as I discovered and grew fond of Structured Procrastination I have been procrastinating studying for my bachelor to get in touch with the author of the original essay and translating it in Italian.
