Mock Assessment (T4)

The trimester 4 mock assessment is designed to support your preparation of your grad project proposal (and presentation) for the formal assessment that takes in December. The format of the mock assessment is an accelerated version of the formal assessment (20 minutes instead of 40), with the other key difference being the inclusion of first year students in the place of the assessors[1]. In this way the mock assessment works as a kind of group critique, where you can test out your ideas, and crucially, receive feedback on how these ideas are in fact received by fellow students. In this way, you can receive useful and possibly unexpected insights and references that can still shape your process before the formal assessment moment.
- ↑ NB: In the actual assessment, you present to a panel chaired by the course director, including tutors, and an external advisor. See T4 Assessment for more.
