what am I doing (so far)

• decentering 'main' subject / confusing centers of attention
• with digging out traces of making (of its 'technique' or 'technology')
• if we think of things happening on different layers, I confuse their arrangement, make permeable / visible
• generally this is a working on matters of visibility, hierarchy, authority in knowledge production and use

why

• countering opacity (hidden, veiled, opaque, impenetrable states) of todays digital, networked technology (software/ tools, interfaces, web)
  • hidden are more diverse histories, political implications of artifacts, construct of individual author-, and ownership
