During my first trimester of studies in XPUB, I had my first radio experience on Radio Worm. In retrospect, those weekly radio shows fostered a sense of '''community''' and '''collaboration''' among the XPUB1 peers during a very transitory period, since most of us had just moved in this new city, still struggling to find our footing. I am fascinated by the nuances of fan-made creation, such as collaborative fanzines, fanfiction, and fanart. Despite being sometimes dismissed, I recognize the significant role these communities play in aiding self-expression and fostering connections through shared passions. I am interested in understanding the dynamics of such communities and how their creative practices intersect with broader cultural narratives.

Protocols for Collective Performance

During my first trimester of studies in XPUB, I had my first radio experience on Radio Worm. In retrospect, those weekly radio shows fostered a sense of community and collaboration among the XPUB1 peers during a very transitory period, since most of us had just moved in this new city, still struggling to find our footing. Broadcasting proved itself to be both a rich playground for experimentation and an invaluable publishing tool and I believe that this experience planted the seed for my graduate project idea.

Self-Hosting Arc

In December 2025, around the time of the first Try-Out Night, I came to a course-altering realization. I had acquired a raspberry pi and had installed linux and azuracast. Everything seemed to be working fine! There was one last step missing; making the server public. How hard could it be!!! :))))
