When I first participated in a radio production, I chose music as my main medium. I became interested in generating music through coding—using programming-like inputs to shape sound—which led me to start learning Strudel.
The process has been challenging. Creating compelling music still requires an understanding of music theory and sound structure, which made me realize that technology is only part of the practice.
I am still exploring—learning new tools while developing my sense of musical language. I hope to find a more natural connection between coding and sound, and expand my creative approach.

Having just arrived at a new school and entered a new phase of life, I am still trying to find my rhythm both in learning and in daily living. I find myself missing the comfort of my previous environment, and I am searching for a sense of balance. This is also why I created this work. Starting from my own feelings and perspective, I hope the audience can find a sense of resonance. I created a “cozy place” where people can rest, reflect, and explore their inner world.

This was my first time hand-binding a book and also my first time designing a book layout without using Adobe software. Although I encountered many challenges along the way, solving them allowed me to gradually learn CSS, which gave me a strong sense of achievement.

Prototyping

• p2p garden

After understanding the rules of P2P, we tried to use Soulseek as a platform to build a virtual private community, which we called “the Garden.” However, things didn’t go smoothly at first. We discovered that the school network imposed restrictions on the software’s functionality. In the end, we chose to use Eddie VPN. After purchasing a one-month VPN subscription, we were finally able to freely access each other’s private profiles and download files.

I began developing an interest in network technologies and started learning how to understand and work with them, including topics such as P2P, as well as building my skills in using the terminal and CSS.

Workshop: Potluck Files

The term "potluck" derives from "luck of the pot"—typically referring to each participant bringing a dish to share at a gathering, resulting in a diverse and unpredictable assortment of food. It is a practice centered on sharing, serendipity, and socializing. In the "Potluck Files" everyone bring some files and packaging in a folder, make name and share with each other.

This workshop was the first one I have organized. Throughout the process, I constantly tried to think from the perspective of the audience: how to attract them, what they could learn, and what they might gain from the experience. I hope that participants are able to take away meaningful knowledge, as this is the main purpose of creating the workshop.

Web to Print：Practice and Scalability

On February 2, 2026, Youjung, Lea and I discussed Tsing’s text on scale and then conducted group interviews to reflect on how scale relates to our personal practices. So we generate really thoughtful discussion and we try to make this conversation into web to print.

While working on this web-to-print project, I clearly felt an improvement in my understanding of CSS. Compared to my previous attempt, I was much more confident and comfortable during the editing and production process.

Summary

Looking back at the past two trimesters, I would describe the first semester as a period of exploration, while the second semester marked the beginning of more focused learning. For the third semester, I hope to have more opportunities to dive deeper into the media I am currently interested in.

• hosting second workshop in Rotterdam with KIKI (a sense of continuity)

• exploring Server Charm with Natalie, designing a product from it, or emerging it in my following project

• making a blog website for non-programmers, simplifying the steps and removing the intimidation of programming languages.
