From Where to Where
The graduation project and the thesis I am currently working on is a comprehensive result of all that I have been working on, both through XPub and beyond.
I want this presentation to take you on a journey explaining; my starting points, learning moments, and inspirations. Come along to witness where I arrived from and where I am hoping to reach; I want to design a browser game on how to attain residency/refuge/asylum in the Netherlands for nonimmigrants (or non-EU). My thesis aims to answer the question; how to make a non EU migration simulation game based on a SS/SD collaboration methodology?
As someone who is new to learning through making, I want my thesis to represent the journey of how Social Sciences and Design can be combined in the making of this project.
I came to XPub as a disillusioned social sciences graduate, and through my days and weeks within the first year I kept on feeling like a fish being asked to climb a tree.
Now, I am comfortable saying that I feel more like a monkey learning how to swim.

Studied Anthropology and Political Theory for my bachelor, my thesis The Sense of Belonging of Young Migrants in Aruba was a result of a community engaged research. |
What About and How?A project on migration, formulated through co-creation. |

Well Here is My Project (in the making)I want to make a simulation browser game on the bureaucratic parts of non-EU's migration journey. My thesis aims to answer the question My thesis aims to answer the question; how to make a non EU migration simulation game based on a SS/SD collaboration methodology? |
