	I am more of a wiki reader than a wiki writer. I used ~~the wiki~~ a lot ~~in my first year not to add anything but to look~~ for interesting things.		I am more of a wiki reader than a wiki writer, during my first year I used it a lot as a compass for interesting things that come from the past.

	I have though of some vague lurking methods that I used anytime I had an idea or an interest I wanted to follow. I started developing them mostly by quoting or mentioning some tools or topics in class, and, usually, our tutors would say something like "Ah yes, X tried to do this" or "Special Issue n. X was about this", so I couldn't resist but to dive in the xpub memories looking for more information.		I have though of some vague "lurking methods" that I used anytime I had an idea or an interest I wanted to follow.

Documenting is a general use of the wiki, so when thinking of an idea, I think of keywords and look for pages containing them. This habit was very helpful and a nice introduction to past threads and resources.

I feel like in every year of xpub there has to be at least one wiki enthusiast, one person that not only writes down what they try, but also about their failures and findings, these people are pure gold.

If not by using keywords, roam around and read about some people from the past! Many people join xpub by word of mouth so who brought your peers in? What do they do? What did they do at XPUB?

If you cannot think of keywords for something you are looking for, try checking out the different existing categories, pages can be grouped by using them. Search for "Special:Categories" in the search bar.

I feel like their tutors don't encourage them to use the wiki the pros of having such a space available because most of them don't use it, but sometimes there is some interesting stuff from their side as well.
