	After I did my first repair first hand, I got more curious and eager to practice.		After I did my first repair first hand, I got more curious and eager to practice. I was excited to do more so I decided to dig around and ask other people if they had an old broken computer around. Before anyone replied I found this old Toshiba satellite, it had Windows millennium edition installed and it worked perfectly.
			I had a great idea, until I could put my hands on something broken again, I would simply open this computer up and clean it, to just get accostumed with the practice of opening up devices.
			I want it to dis-assemble everything, and I did. The first time I re-assembled it I got one screw left and had no idea where it came from. The second time around no screw left but... the display was not working anymore.
			Panic, of course the first times you mess up you start doing a rewatch of your every move, asking yourself if you did something you were not supposed to in between. Even though most times opening up everything and doing every step again thorouly is enough to fix stuff, in my case I think I really messed up in one single step.
			This computer has a removable CPU, which, admittedly, was veery hard to remove. I remembere thinking "hmm, maybe I should just leave this thing in", but I had a dream, cleaning the computer from the dust and getting every possible component out. Removing the CPU was possible, but why make it possible if then removing it might bend the parts to keep it in?

			I am not sure this was the case, as the parts were already bent before my removal (you could also feel it from the fact that the CPU was not coming out the first time). As I dis-assembled and re-assembled everything I managed I managed to power everything correctly but still nothing on the screen.

			Defeated, I put it back where I found it so I can maybe ask someone else to take a look at it together.

	This phone works fine exept for the display. It powers on correctly, if you press the volume keys you can hear the sound coming out of the speakers, it even bleeps when the battery is low. Probably replacing the screen is all it takes, but I am very frustrated because the replacement prices are very high (nothing under 30 EUR). So for now this will have to wait. 	I had this psp for more than 10 years, the battery does not hold the charge too well, but it is still very usable. I did not play with it for a long time because the buttons were punched in and did not click anymore, I've thought of doing a full host swap but, to be fair, there was no need for that. I've found a broken psp at a street market during king's day for 3 euro! No battery, no battery cover but very clickable buttons! Part of the evening was dedicated to discuss some permacomputing principles and after that part of the talk there was a moment where one of the presenters took out a phone with a broken screen, some tools and a replacement to repair the screen live. I took part in the repair table, where we followed an online guide to do the jon. This phone's screen was comically hard to remove, we were three people and I think we took half an hour, it was pretty funny to do this while the rest of the event was going on.
