	Nastala serija fotografij se razpira od zelo abstraktnih do ostrejših razpoznavnih podob. V prvih sta risarska in fotografska plast neberljivo staljeni v sence, oblike in madeže, kot bi fotografija bledela in pred našimi očmi izginjala v nerazpoznavne odseve. Na drugi strani so temnejše, ostrejše podobe, večinoma ujete v okroglo vinjeto, na katerih so prizori iz urbanega okolja, spojeni z madeži in risarskimi potezami, ki so povečini abstraktne. Geometrijski obrisi arhitekture so v kontrastu z organskimi madeži risarskih oziroma slikarskih potez. Z višjim kontrastom in povečanimi gestami podobe zadobijo strašljivo ter temačno vzdušje in spominjajo na mesto, ki so ga zajeli duhovi ali pošastna bitja. Zgradba Diy fotoaparata pa je poenostavljena na osnovno raven – leča, zaslonka, zaklop in film. Tako je delovanje aparata bolj jasno in razložljivo, čeprav ne smemo zanemariti, da fotoaparat že sam po sebi ustvarja podobe na specifičen selektiven način in tako končna podoba nikoli ne more biti objektivni posnetek realnosti.		Projekt Diy kamera na eni strani zajema snovanje ter izdelavo aparata – orodja za ustvarjanje podob – in na drugi strani z njim nastale podobe. Lesen fotoaparat je ročno narejena naprava za analogno fotografiranje na film srednjega formata. Sprva se postavlja vprašanje, čemu sploh izdelati fotoaparat lastnoročno, ko pa je trg preplavljen s kopico tovrstne opreme vseh ravni in cenovnih razredov. Toda kljub izjemno široki izbiri mi je lastnoročna izdelava kamere omogočila specifične lastnosti nastalih podob ter naprave same, takih karakteristik pa serijska oprema ne nudi. Diy pristop pa je tudi odziv na hiter razvoj fotografske tehnologije, ki se pokaže kot problematičen. Kamere postajajo vse bolj zapletene in kompleksno zgrajene, saj jih načrtujejo strokovnjaki z izjemno specifičnim in znanjem. Na drugi strani je množica uporabnikov, ki, najsi bodo še tako dobri profesionalci, ne morejo do potankosti razumeti ustroja svojih kamer, kvečjemu le njegov uporabniški, tvorni del. Kamera se izkaže za selektiven aparat z neštetimi funkcijami in parametri, s katerimi fotograf upravlja, toda mnoge funkcije so v napravo vgrajene na način, da so aktivirane avtomatsko ali celo brez uporabnikove vednosti. Nevertheless, it offers effects and characteristics I could never achieve with serially manufactured equipment.
